There is an area of South Africa simply called "Wilderness", where the beaches are long and white and the coastline has remained unchanged for thousands of years. But the wilderness experience of this part of the world is so much more than this one area.
There are many unspoiled wilderness areas here, especially in Namibia and Botswana, where the Namib and Kalahari have been an impressive barrier to development. The Okavango Delta and Skeleton Coast areas are two of the most spectacular wilderness areas we know about.
Both are hard to get to, and the deepest parts are only accessible by light aircraft. However, if your budget does not stretch to that, we will take you to the more accessible areas by road and/or boat, ensuring your satisfaction even if you are on a budget!
